Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • ⅛ liter whipped cream
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 shot of mineral water
  • 1 shot of rum
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling
  • Butter or oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the egg yolks with the flour, milk, cream, baking powder, vanilla sugar, rum, and a dash of mineral water. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Heat butter in a pan and fry the mixture until golden brown. Turn over after a few minutes. When the mixture is golden brown, tear it into pieces with a spatula. Serve with powdered sugar. Serve with fruit ragout, jam, or applesauce.
