Kassel Slices in Puff Pastry

- 8 Discs Smoked Kasseler (approx. 1-2 cm thick)
- 2 roll Puff pastry
- 1 Pc. Egg yolk
- 6 Pc. Juniper berries
- 1 pinch Sugar
- Black pepper
- Chop the juniper berries as finely as possible in a mortar or blender. Mix with a pinch of sugar and a little black pepper and use it to season the meat slices on both sides.
- Cut each roll of puff pastry into 4 pieces, place the meat slices on top, fold the pastry over and press together on the side with a fork.
- Brush with the stirred egg yolk and bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 15 minutes.
