Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g boneless smoked pork
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 20 g basil, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 350 g pasta (spirelli), possibly whole wheat
  • salt water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

with noodles

Cut the smoked pork into cubes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the smoked pork cubes. Slice the onions, add them to the smoked pork, and fry until browned. Then add the tomatoes and basil, season, and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water. Finally, stir in the cooked pasta and let it simmer briefly.
