Key Lime Dessert

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 240 ml lime juice, optionally also the zest of one lime
  • 400 g condensed milk (Milchmädchen, 1 can)
  • 100 g pudding powder, vanilla flavor
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 300 g biscuits, wholemeal butter biscuits (or as many as you like)

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Layered dessert in Key Lime Pie style, without eggs

First, combine the lime juice (and zest) and milk in a bowl. Stir in the custard powder and mix thoroughly. Then let it rest in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener until stiff and fold it into the lime mixture. Finally, layer the mixture with the biscuits in glasses, chill, and enjoy. If desired, you can garnish the dessert with an extra dollop of cream.
