Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 can kidney beans
- ½ onion(s)
- 2 tbsp pumpkin seed oil
- 1 tbsp herbs (8-herb blend), chopped
- 3 tomatoes, dried in oil
- Salt

Drain the beans in a sieve and rinse thoroughly with water. Place all ingredients in a food processor (use the sharp blade attachment), blend thoroughly, and season to taste. Suitable herbs include dill, watercress, chervil, chives, sorrel, borage, and burnet burnet. It goes perfectly with black bread. If the spread is still a bit too crumbly, thin it with a little oil and/or water.
