Kimpira with shirataki noodles and carrot

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g shirataki noodles (konjac)
  • 1 small carrot(s)
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 ¼ tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp fish stock (powder if available, alternatively chili powder)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • e.g. sesame

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Japanese

Rinse the shirataki noodles with water and cut into approximately 5 cm long pieces. Peel the carrot and slice into thin strips. Heat the sesame oil in a pan, add the shirataki noodles and carrots, and fry uncovered for about 2 minutes. Season with soy sauce, fish stock powder (if using), and sugar, and continue frying uncovered for about 2 minutes. Finally, sprinkle generously with sesame seeds.
