Kinder Bar croissants

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 roll of topping dough
  • 10 chocolate bars (Kinder bars)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 shot of milk
  • powdered sugar
  • 50 g chocolate

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

for about 5 croissants

Roll out the puff pastry and place 5 bars along each long edge. Divide the dough horizontally into 5 pieces using a pizza cutter. Roll up the ends of the dough pieces to the middle so that the bars are rolled up inside. Place the pastries, open side down, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Mix the egg yolk with milk and brush the pastries with it. Bake the croissants at 200 degrees top/bottom heat for about 30 minutes. Then melt the chocolate in a water bath and decorate the croissants with powdered sugar and melted chocolate as desired. Tip: If the pastries become too dark during baking, simply place a piece of aluminum foil on top. The long baking time is necessary because of the many layers.
