Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml buttermilk
  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • Salt
  • 12 pieces of confectionery (Kinder Schokobons)
  • 2 bars of chocolate (Kinder chocolate), 100 g each, roughly chopped
  • n. B. Chocolate, white, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

For 10 muffins with a chocolate bonbon core in the middle

Whisk buttermilk with butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add flour and baking powder. Stir in Kinder chocolate. Line a muffin tin with paper cases and fill halfway with batter. Press one Kinder chocolate bon into the mixture and pour the other half on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes in a preheated oven at 160°C fan-assisted oven or 180°C top/bottom heat. You can decorate the muffins with white chocolate to finish. Makes 10 large muffins. Note from the Chefkoch.de recipe editor: If you mix buttermilk, butter, eggs, and sugar, the mixture will curdle and the butter won’t dissolve completely. You can see this in the video and in the step-by-step instructions. But that’s okay.
