Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g margarine
  • 125 g sugar
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 750 g apples
  • Cinnamon
  • powdered sugar
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash, peel, quarter, and core the apples, cut several times across the surface, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Beat the margarine, sugar, and egg yolks until fluffy, then alternately add the flour and milk to the mixture. Fold in the egg whites. Grease a springform pan and smooth the batter. Place the apples on top. Sprinkle with a little more cinnamon, if desired. Bake the cake at 200°C (400°F) for about 30-35 minutes. After baking, sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar.
