Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 12 eggs
  • 1,200 g sour cream
  • 300 g margarine
  • 450 g flour
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 6 tsp baking powder
  • 450 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 3 tbsp nuts, ground
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 300 g butter
  • 1 liter pudding, vanilla

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

For the first layer, mix together 4 eggs, 400g sour cream, 100g margarine, 150g flour, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 150g sugar, and 3 tablespoons of poppy seeds. For the second layer, repeat the process but replace the poppy seeds with 3 tablespoons of ground nuts. For the third layer, repeat the process but replace the poppy seeds with 3 tablespoons of cocoa. Bake each layer on a baking tray lined with baking paper for 35-40 minutes at 180°C and allow to cool. For the cream, cream 300g butter until fluffy and stir into the vanilla pudding a tablespoon at a time. The butter and pudding must be the same temperature. Spread the buttercream on each layer and stack them on top of each other. Decorate as desired.
