Kiwi – Banana – Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 900 g kiwifruit
  • 200 g banana(s), without peel
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 2 tbsp white rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 25 minutes

approx. 6 glasses of 250 ml each

Peel the kiwis thinly and cut into small cubes. Dice the bananas as well. Weigh out a total of 1 kg. Mix with gelling sugar and let it steep for 3-4 hours. Then bring to a boil while stirring and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in the rum. Pour into clean jars while still boiling hot and immediately seal with twist-off lids.
