Kiwi-pear jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg kiwi(s) (pre-weighed)
  • 1 kg pear(s), (pre-weighed)
  • 1 lemon(s) (juice only)
  • 2 packs of gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

10 glasses of 210 ml each

Peel and core the pears, cut into small pieces, and immediately drizzle with lemon juice. Peel the kiwi and also cut into small pieces. Combine everything with the gelling sugar and cinnamon stick in a tall saucepan over high heat, stirring frequently, and bring to a frothy boil for several minutes. Don’t forget to stir! When the gelling sugar is completely dissolved and the jam has a glassy consistency, fill the cleaned jam jars to the brim with the finished jam. Seal tightly and turn upside down for at least 5 minutes. The cinnamon stick will remain!
