Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg kohlrabi
- 50 g butter
- 10 g sugar
- ⅛ liter meat broth
- some salt
- ½ bunch parsley, finely chopped

Peel the kohlrabi (thicker on the root side, thinner on the leaf side). Cut the kohlrabi into sticks (like chips). Heat the butter in a saucepan. Add the sugar and let it brown for three minutes. Add the kohlrabi. Add 2 tablespoons of meat broth. Simmer uncovered for five minutes. Season with salt. Add the remaining meat broth. Cook for 25 minutes (the broth should have reduced by then). Let the kohlrabi brown slightly. Add the parsley.
