Bean and carrot vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans (bush beans)
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • savory
  • oil
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Trim the beans and cut into approximately 4 cm pieces. Peel and slice the carrots. Sauté the diced onion in a little oil until translucent. Now add the beans and carrots. Season with salt, pepper, and savory. Sauté briefly and then deglaze with the vegetable stock. Simmer for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the carrot slices.
