Kohlrabi from the microwave

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 kohlrabi, approx. 400 g
  • n. B. Kohlrabi leaves, finely chopped
  • ½ cup cream or milk (approx. 100 – 125 ml)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Creamed kohlrabi

Peel the kohlrabi, slice it, and place it in a microwave-safe container. Season with salt and pepper. Add the finely chopped kohlrabi leaves, pour over the cream or milk (depending on how rich you like it), and stir everything together. Cover and cook in a microwave at 700 watts for about 10 minutes.
