Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g spaghetti (the thin ones taste best)
- 500 g minced meat
- 2 onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 small can of tomatoes, chopped
- salt and pepper
- oregano
- rosemary
- Thyme, OR:
- herbs, Italian
- Cayenne pepper or chili to taste
- 4 kohlrabi, fresh
- e.g. Parmesan, freshly grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
with raw kohlrabi, beautifully fruity
Peel the onions and garlic, chop finely, and fry. Then fry the minced meat, season well, and add the can of tomatoes. Simmer until the minced meat is tender. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti. Peel the raw kohlrabi and trim away any hard, dry bits. Grate the kohlrabi very finely, add the mixture to the prepared minced meat, and mix well. Spoon over the spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
