Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 pairs of sausages
  • 2 onions
  • 6 m.-large kohlrabi
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 liter of broth
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 small can of chanterelles
  • 2 cup(s) mashed potato powder
  • 1 cup cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Slice the sausages. Peel and dice the onions. Cut the kohlrabi into sticks. Sauté everything in rendered fat until translucent. Deglaze with stock and season to taste. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes. Add the drained chanterelles to the stew and cook for 5 minutes. Thicken with the puree powder and fold in the cream.
