Kohlrabi salad with turkey breast

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 kohlrabi
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 100 g turkey breast, smoked
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • Sugar
  • some brandy
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the kohlrabi and slice into thin strips. Bring 1/4 liter of salted water to a boil. Simmer the kohlrabi strips for 5 minutes. Drain and let cool. Meanwhile, trim the spring onions and slice into rings. Trim the radishes and slice into thin strips. Cut the turkey breast and Gouda cheese into thin strips. Wash and quarter the tomatoes. Make a dressing with mayonnaise, milk, tomato paste, lemon juice, spices, and a little brandy. Combine all ingredients and fold in the dressing. Serve well chilled.
