Kohlrabi with Beef
The perfect kohlrabi with beef recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 liter Water
- 2 tbsp Salt
- 750 g Beef / soup meat
- 1 size Quartered onion
- 2 piece Bay leaves
- ***************
- 1 medium sized Kohlrabi
- Salt and pepper
- Broccoli florets
- Prepare the water with the salt, add the meat and add all the other ingredients to the meat. I then boiled the whole thing for a good 3 hours and added some water while it was boiling.
- During the cooking process, peel the kohlrabi and roughly slice it into pens.
- When the meat is done, which crumbles almost as tender, remove it from the broth and cut the meat into small pieces.
- Strain the broth through a cloth, add the cut meat and the kohlrabi, season with salt and pepper, then bring everything to a boil. After switching off, spread the broccoli on top and let everything steep for another 15 minutes.
