Kohlrabi with Beef

The perfect kohlrabi with beef recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 liter Water
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 750 g Beef / soup meat
  • 1 size Quartered onion
  • 2 piece Bay leaves
  • ***************
  • 1 medium sized Kohlrabi
  • Salt and pepper
  • Broccoli florets
  1. Prepare the water with the salt, add the meat and add all the other ingredients to the meat. I then boiled the whole thing for a good 3 hours and added some water while it was boiling.
  2. During the cooking process, peel the kohlrabi and roughly slice it into pens.
  3. When the meat is done, which crumbles almost as tender, remove it from the broth and cut the meat into small pieces.
  4. Strain the broth through a cloth, add the cut meat and the kohlrabi, season with salt and pepper, then bring everything to a boil. After switching off, spread the broccoli on top and let everything steep for another 15 minutes.
