Ingredients
 

  • 1 kg Minced meat half beef, half pork
  • 1 Fresh white cabbage
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp Margarine
  • 8 large Potatoes
  • Water

Instructions
 

  • Season the unseasoned minced meat with salt and pepper. Halve the cabbage once in the middle, then read the leaves. Spread the bottom of the roasting pan with margarine.
  • In the roasting pan, layer the cabbage leaves and the minced meat alternately, first line the lower layer with cabbage leaves, lightly salt and pepper them, then spread the meatballs on top, then cabbage again, etc.
  • Now deglaze with a little water and loosen the lower layer, then stir everything and continue to fry with the lid closed, when the layer is dark brown again, deglaze with water and stir. This is repeated until everything is browned.
  • Then let everything simmer with the lid closed and over medium heat for about 1.5 hours, fill up with water every now and then so that nothing burns.
  • In the meantime, peel the potatoes and cook them in a saucepan filled with salted water for about 20 minutes.
