Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 400 g sausage (Swedish Falukorv – alternatively German Fleischwurst)
- 250 g whipped cream (15% fat)
- 370 g tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cube of herb(s) (Italian herbs)
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 dash of soy sauce
- salt and pepper

Peel the sausage. First, cut it into 0.5 cm thick slices, then into strips. Peel and finely chop the onion, and fry it in a pan. Add the sausage strips and brown them. Then add the tomatoes and cream and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Finally, add the diced herbs and season with salt, pepper, and a small dash of soy sauce. Serve with noodles or rice. Swedes would eat “snabbmakaroner.” These are small, savoury pasta shells that cook in 3-4 minutes.
