Krautfleckerl with Chorizo
The perfect krautfleckerl with chorizo recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Broad pasta
- Salt
- 250 g White cabbage
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Onion
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Caraway seeds
- 100 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp White wine vinegar
- Pepper
- Boil the pasta in salted water
- Remove the chorizo from the skin and cut into slices
- Peel and quarter the tomato
- Cut the onion into strips
- Heat the oil in a pan, fry the sausage in it and then remove it
- Put the onion in the frying fat, dust with sugar, add caraway seeds and fry with them
- Stir in the tomato and sausage
- Pour in the stock and simmer covered for approx. 15 minutes
- then season with salt, pepper and vinegar
- Drain the pasta and fold in
