Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 oranges
  • ½ vanilla pod(s)
  • 8 kumquats
  • 700 ml schnapps (grain)
  • 100 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 120 g sugar (rock candy), white

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fillet the oranges and cut into pieces. Split open 1/2 of the vanilla pod. Place the filleted oranges, kumquats, cornstarch, freshly squeezed orange juice, vanilla pod, and white rock candy in a bottle. Seal tightly and let it steep for 6 weeks. Filter and bottle. Tip: The liqueur can be served with 100 ml of Prosecco—simply pour the liqueur over 100 ml of Prosecco and add a frozen kumquat.
