Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 can of corned beef
  • 1 can of meat (breakfast)
  • 1 jar beetroot, cut into strips
  • 4 gherkins
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil potatoes for about 20-25 minutes until soft. Peel and finely chop onions. Add corned beef, breakfast meat, beets with their juices, onions, and cucumbers to a pan and fry, keeping them moist with the cucumber juices. Mix the potatoes and the contents of the pan and mash them. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with fish or fried eggs.
