Lactose-free coffee-banana smoothie

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 ml water
  • 4 tsp, heaped instant coffee powder
  • 2 bananas, ripe
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 600 ml water, cold
  • e.g. coconut blossom sugar or vanilla sugar

Bring the water to a boil and pour the instant coffee into a cup. This smoothie also tastes great with instant espresso powder. First, let the coffee cool as is, then let it cool in the refrigerator. Combine the cooled coffee with the cold water, the peeled bananas (each cut into four pieces), and the cinnamon in a blender and blend on high for 1-2 minutes. For ripe bananas, I think the sweetness is enough. Otherwise, you can add coconut blossom sugar or vanilla sugar to taste. This smoothie can be refrigerated overnight and is ready the next morning. Great for breakfast or as a dessert drink.
