Lamb Steaks on Hay Cream

The perfect lamb steaks on hay cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the lamb steaks:

  • 800 g Lamb steaks
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Rosemary needles
  • 1 tbsp Thyme, rubbed
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • Sal de Ibiza
  • Pepper

For the hay cream:

  • 2 handful Hay, from the trusted pet store
  • 1 branch Rosemary
  • 800 g Cream
  • 200 ml White wine
  • Sal de Ibiza
  • Pepper

Lamb steaks:

  1. Peel the garlic cloves, chop them very finely and mix together with the herbs, salt, pepper and 5 tablespoons of olive oil. Marinate the lamb steaks in it for about an hour.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and fry the lamb steaks on both sides to the desired cooking level.

Hay cream:

  1. Put the hay and rosemary in a saucepan, pour over the cream and white wine, bring to the boil and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  2. Brush the hay cream through a hair sieve and reduce to the desired consistency. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
