Lamb's lettuce with feta and apple

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bowl of lamb’s lettuce
  • 1 pack of feta cheese made from sheep’s milk
  • 2 apples, sweet
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp beet syrup
  • 5 tbsp oil (e.g. olive oil)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Trim, wash, and spin dry the lamb’s lettuce. Place it in a salad bowl. Crumble the feta cheese into a small bowl with a fork and sprinkle it over the lamb’s lettuce. Core the apples, cut them into small, bite-sized pieces, and add them to the lamb’s lettuce. Make a dressing from apple cider vinegar, oil, beetroot syrup, salt, and pepper and pour it over the salad. Mix well with salad servers and eat immediately, as the lamb’s lettuce wilts quickly. As a starter, the salad serves 4 people; as a main course, it serves 2 people.
