Lamb's lettuce with tuna, tomato and almonds

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 piece(s) of ginger root, approx. 1 cm
  • ½ can tuna in its own juice
  • 1 tbsp almond slivers, roasted without fat
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp, leveled mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tbsp cream or milk
  • a little vinegar
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp curry
  • some dill
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rinse and sort the lamb’s lettuce thoroughly, then place it in a large bowl. Wash the tomatoes, cut into eighths, and add them. Peel and finely chop the ginger, add it to the bowl with the drained and shredded tuna, and mix gently. In a small bowl, whisk the mayonnaise and mustard with the cream (or milk) until smooth. Add the oil and vinegar and season with curry, dill, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the salad and gently fold in. Sprinkle the almonds on top at the end.
