Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 point lasagna sheet(s)
  • 250 g mozzarella, grated
  • 25 g butter
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 100 g ham
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • 2 tomatoes, fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

For the meat sauce, dice the ham, carrots, and onion and brown them in a large pan. After about 5 minutes, add the minced meat and fry while stirring. Add the white wine, canned tomatoes, and diced fresh tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano and simmer until thickened (about 30 minutes). For the béchamel, melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the flour, and stir until golden yellow. Remove from the heat and whisk in the milk (enough to make the béchamel nice and smooth, but not too moist). Season. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter. Layer the meat sauce, béchamel, and pasta sheets alternately, then sprinkle with cheese and butter flakes. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and let stand for a few minutes before serving to allow the lasagna to set.
