Ingredients for 3 servings:

- 1 can of tomatoes
- 2 tomatoes (vine tomatoes)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 700 g minced meat
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ glasses of white wine
- 5 eggs, hard-boiled
- 300 cheese, grated
- 100 g butter
- salt and pepper
- some hollandaise sauce

Italian pasta casserole with minced meat
Chop the canned tomatoes and add their juice to a saucepan. Pour boiling water over the 2 vine tomatoes, wait 2 minutes, and then remove the skins. Chop them and add them to the pan. Simmer with the two finely diced garlic cloves for about 45 minutes; the liquid needs to reduce. Hard-boil 5 eggs and slice them. Make a béchamel sauce with the butter. I always add a little hollandaise sauce to the finished béchamel; it tastes fantastic. Brown the minced meat in a pan, add tomato paste, season with salt and pepper, and deglaze with the wine. Add the tomato sauce to the minced meat and stir in. Melt about 100g of grated cheese in the pan and season to taste. Now layer alternately in a baking dish: béchamel, lasagne sheets, minced meat sauce, egg slices, lasagne sheets, minced meat sauce, egg slices, lasagne sheets, minced meat sauce, béchamel sauce, grated cheese. Bake in the oven for approx. 35-45 minutes at 180°C.
