Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g sugar
- 150 ml water
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp lavender, dried
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes
e.g. with sparkling wine or desserts
Heat the sugar, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan while stirring. Simmer gently for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the lavender blossoms. Cover the pan and let the syrup steep for a day. Strain the syrup through a sieve or coffee/tea filter and pour into a glass or bottle. Tastes great with sparkling wine and over ice.
