Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork neck
  • n. B. Spice mix (Magic Rub)
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 250g bacon
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 200 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 bottle of barbecue sauce (honey BBQ sauce)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 13 hours 50 minutes

Cut the pork neck into pieces, rub with Magic Rub, and let it marinate overnight. Clean and slice the bell pepper, roughly chop the onion, and mince the garlic. Line the Omnia dish with the bacon strips so that about half of them hang over the edge. Layer the pork neck alternately with pieces of bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Mix the passata with the BBQ sauce, pour over the sauce, and overlap the overhanging bacon. Cook for about 5 minutes on high and about 90 minutes on low. Serve with baguette or rice.
