Leberkäse pasta pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta, e.g. Rigatoni
  • 200 g Leberkäse, fine
  • 1 tbsp mustard, hot and preferably a slightly grainier variety
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10 cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 5 small gherkins (cornichons)
  • some vegetable oil for frying
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with cocktail tomatoes and cucumbers

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, cut the Leberkäse into small cubes, quarter the tomatoes, slice the spring onions, and slice the cucumbers. Mix the sour cream with the mustard and season with salt and pepper. Once the pasta is ready, heat a little oil in a large pan. Brown the Leberkäse, then add the pasta and fry briefly. Stir in the sour cream and mustard mixture and bring to a boil. Finally, stir in the tomatoes, cucumbers, and spring onions. Serve warm.
