Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 8 slice(s) Leberkäse, thinly sliced
- 300 g sauerkraut, cooked
- 150 g Emmental cheese, sliced
- n. B. Pfeffer
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
A hearty dish – also suitable for small celebrations.
Top the Leberkäse slices with the sauerkraut. Cut the cheese into long strips and spread them on top. Season with pepper. Roll up the Leberkäse slices with the sauerkraut and cheese and secure with toothpicks. Fry in a pan with a little oil until golden brown on all sides. Serve with mashed potatoes.
