Leek – Potato – Rösti …

The perfect leek – potato – rösti … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Leek
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • Pepper White
  • 150 g Potatoes
  • 1 Egg
  • Pepper and salt
  • Chilli flakes
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt
  1. Clean the leek, cut into pieces approx. 3 cm long. Cut into fine strips and wash.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the leek while dripping wet and sauté briefly. Season with white pepper. Take off the stove and let cool down a bit.
  3. Peel, wash and roughly grate the potatoes. Mix with the leek and egg. Season with pepper, salt and chilli flakes.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the hash browns on both sides.
  5. Fry the egg as a fried egg.
  6. Arrange the rosti with the fried egg on a plate. Garnish as you wish.
