The perfect leek – potato – rösti … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 50 g Leek
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- Pepper White
- 150 g Potatoes
- 1 Egg
- Pepper and salt
- Chilli flakes
- Oil for frying
- 1 Egg
- Salt
- Clean the leek, cut into pieces approx. 3 cm long. Cut into fine strips and wash.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the leek while dripping wet and sauté briefly. Season with white pepper. Take off the stove and let cool down a bit.
- Peel, wash and roughly grate the potatoes. Mix with the leek and egg. Season with pepper, salt and chilli flakes.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the hash browns on both sides.
- Fry the egg as a fried egg.
- Arrange the rosti with the fried egg on a plate. Garnish as you wish.
