Potato Rosti with Herb Quark

The perfect potato rosti with herb quark recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Potatoes big
  • 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 bunch Fresh dill
  • 1 bunch Chives fresh
  • 1 Apple
  • 150 g Lowfat quark
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Wash the herbs, shake dry and cut finely. Wash the apple, rub dry, quarter, remove the core and cut the apple quarters into thin slices. Mix the quark with the herbs and apple pieces and season well with salt and pepper.
  2. Peel and roughly grate the potatoes. Heat the oil. Press the potatoes into flat hash browns in portions of 2 tablespoons each. Fry the hash browns on each side over medium heat for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Drain the finished hash browns on kitchen paper and serve with the apple and herb quark.
