Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup(s) milk
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 3 eggs, of which the egg white
- 3 eggs, including the yolk
- 2 lemons or lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Combine flour and baking powder, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and milk. Mix everything into a dough, then stir in grated lemon zest (or 1 packet of Lemon Baking Powder) and the beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased Bundt pan dusted with breadcrumbs or flour. Bake in a preheated oven at medium heat for about 1 hour. Combine the juice of 2 lemons and the powdered sugar and spread over the finished, but still hot, cake. Finally, sprinkle the cooled cake with powdered sugar.
