Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 5 eggs, size L
- 200 g sugar
- 1 pack flavoring (lemon sugar or 1 tbsp homemade)
- 100 g cornstarch
- 300 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 3 lemon(s), organic
- 5 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Preheat oven to 150°C fan/convection oven. Beat softened butter well, add eggs one at a time. Mix in sugar and lemon sugar. Sift flour, cornstarch, and baking powder and add. Stir in the juice of two lemons and the grated lemon zest until smooth. Grease the pan well and pour the batter into the pan. Bake at 150°C for about 45 minutes; test with a skewer for doneness. Let the cake cool and sprinkle with a little juice from the last lemon. Mix the remaining juice into the icing sugar for the glaze.
