Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 chicken legs
  • 1 kg potatoes, waxy
  • 1 kg onion(s)
  • ½ liter olive oil
  • ½ liter lemon juice
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

My insider tip for guests! Quickly prepared traybake with chicken, potatoes, and onions in a lemon sauce

Rinse the chicken thighs, dry them, season them with salt and pepper, then place them on a greased baking sheet. Peel the onions and potatoes and arrange them whole on the baking sheet between the thighs. Add the olive oil to the lemon juice, peel and press the garlic, and add it to the olive oil and lemon juice mixture. Pour the mixture over the chicken pieces, onions, and potatoes, and season again with salt and pepper. Then bake everything in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for one hour. The onions are a hit!
