- 350 g butter
- 350 g sugar

- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 500 g powdered sugar
- 1 lemon(s), juice
- 50 g marzipan

Recipe for 40 pieces
Place the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs in a mixing bowl and mix with a whisk or mixer. Add the flour and baking powder, followed by the lemon juice and zest. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and spread the batter. Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes (depending on your oven). Allow the cake to cool completely, then cut into 4×4 cm cubes. Pour the icing sugar into a bowl, add the lemon juice, and mix well. Place the cake cubes on a wire rack and drizzle with icing. Do not use a brush, as this will cause the cake to crumble. Color the marzipan, roll into small balls, flatten them, and then shape into a rose.
