- 150 g crème fraîche or sour cream
- 50 g mayonnaise
- ½ lemon(s), the juice
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- salt and pepper
- 8 leaves of lemon balm

Peel the onion and chop very finely – grate if desired. Add the crème fraîche, mayonnaise, and lemon juice and whisk until fluffy. Finely chop the lemon balm. Add to the sauce along with the spices and season to taste. Goes well with grilled food, fondue, or simply as a dip.
