Lemon Thyme Oil

The perfect lemon thyme oil recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Bottle with swing or screw cap 150ml
  • 2 Organic lemons
  • 5 Sprigs of thyme
  • 2 Lemon thyme sprigs
  • 150 ml Rapeseed oil
  1. Rinse the bottle with hot water and let it dry well. Rinse the thyme sprigs and shake well dry. Wash the lemons with hot water, dry them and carefully peel them with a peeler to avoid getting as little white skin as possible. Place the bowl in the bottle, taking care not to touch the bottle opening with your hands. Then add the thyme to the bottle. Fill up with oil, close and leave in a dark place for 4 weeks. Once you have it open, it is best to strain it into a sterile bottle.
