Cream-box Cake

The perfect cream-box cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Eggs
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 100 ml Oil
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 2 tbsp Grated lemon or orange peel
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 400 g Flour
  • 150 ml Milk
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (convection).
  1. Mix the eggs and sugar with the hand mixer on the highest setting for 2 minutes
  1. Add milk, oil, grated bowl of cream, stir again
  1. Mix the vanilla sugar, baking powder and flour and add portion by portion to the liquid mixture, stir for another 2 minutes
  1. Fill the finished dough into a greased loaf pan and after 10 minutes cut into the cake length to 1 cm deep with a knife. Bake the cake for a total of about 50 minutes (don’t forget the stick test)
