Lentil Salad La Bruno
The perfect lentil salad la bruno recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

- 1 tl. Mustard
- 5 tbsp Cold-Pressed sunflower oil
- 4 tbsp Red wine vinegar

- 5 dl Water
- 1 piece Fresh onion
- 1 piece Bay leaf
- 3 piece Clove
- 1 tsp Salt
- 125 g Lentils brown
- 125 g Lentils green
- 100 g Bacon cubes
- 2 Pc Carrots
- 1 Pc Fresh celery
- 1 tsp According to herbs
- Red wine
- Mix all ingredients well in a bowl with salt and pepper to taste

- Water, a little red wine or if you prefer vinegar, you can also add a shot of it, cook the onion covered with bay leaves and cloves
- Add the salt and lentils, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes
- Add the chopped vegetables for the last 10 minutes
- When everything is ready, drain off the remaining liquid and let it cool down
- Brown the diced bacon, stir in and add the sauce with herbs
- As a tip Steamed leek strips go very well with it
- The lentils on a mixed salad plate make a wonderful meal
