Lentil Salad La Bruno

  • 1 tl. Mustard
  • 5 tbsp Cold-Pressed sunflower oil
  • 4 tbsp Red wine vinegar

  • 5 dl Water
  • 1 piece Fresh onion
  • 1 piece Bay leaf
  • 3 piece Clove
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 125 g Lentils brown
  • 125 g Lentils green
  • 100 g Bacon cubes
  • 2 Pc Carrots
  • 1 Pc Fresh celery
  • 1 tsp According to herbs
  • Red wine
  1. Mix all ingredients well in a bowl with salt and pepper to taste

  1. Water, a little red wine or if you prefer vinegar, you can also add a shot of it, cook the onion covered with bay leaves and cloves
  2. Add the salt and lentils, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes
  3. Add the chopped vegetables for the last 10 minutes
  4. When everything is ready, drain off the remaining liquid and let it cool down
  5. Brown the diced bacon, stir in and add the sauce with herbs
  6. As a tip Steamed leek strips go very well with it
  7. The lentils on a mixed salad plate make a wonderful meal
