Ingredients
- 2 Large potatoes
- 1 cup Lentils
- 1 Onion
- 1 Carrot
- 1 clove Garlic
- Salt, pepper, chilli, vinegar, sugar
- Rapeseed oil, walnut oil
- 200 g Rapunzel = lamb's lettuce
- 2 stainless steel dining rings 5 cm in diameter
Instructions
- Finely dice the onion, chop the garlic and fry in a little oil, wash and add the lentils, fill up with 2 cups of water and season with salt, pepper and finely chopped chilli. Add a little vinegar and sugar. Grate the carrot into sticks and add. Simmer gently until the lentils are done. Taste again, it should be spicy, a little hot-sweet-sour ...
- In the meantime, peel and wash the potatoes. Slice it very thinly or, if you can, cut it. Place the potatoes in a row, overlapping them, and coat the lightly oiled rings with them. Heat plenty of oil in a large pan, place the rings on the edge of the pan and let them fry, rolling a little further until the potatoes are golden brown all around. Place upright on a plate and let drain a little.
- Serving: Carefully slide one potato coat off the metal and place it in the middle of a slightly warmed plate. Fill with the lentils, press down a little, then the tower stands better. Spread the Rapunzel, just season with a little salt and pepper and drizzle with walnut oil. Finished!
