Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g lentils
- 1 onion(s), red
- 2 tbsp chives
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 1 pepper, red
- 10 basil leaves
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper, white
- some basil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Cook the lentils in plenty of salted water for 25 minutes. Transfer to a colander and let cool. Dice the tomatoes. Chop the basil and chili peppers. Halve and slice the onion, and finely chop the chives. Transfer everything to a bowl and season with oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well and garnish with basil leaves. Let stand for 30 minutes.
