Simple Chinese cabbage salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-large Chinese cabbage
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 3 ½ tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

We often had this in the 80s

Finely slice the Chinese cabbage. Finely dice the onion and place it in a measuring jug with salt, sugar, vinegar, oil, and pepper (to taste). Mix well with a fork. Pour the dressing over the salad and fold in. Let it stand briefly before serving.
