Leo’s Sausage Skewers
The perfect leo’s sausage skewers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Bell peppers (red, yellow)
- 2 Red onions
- 1 Zucchini
- 600 g Nuremberg grilled sausages
- 8 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Dried thyme
- Clean the peppers and cut into 3 cm pieces. Halve the onions, cut each half into 3 wedges. Cut the zucchini into 2 cm slices.
- Cut sausages into thirds (or buy sausages straight away is cheaper). Put all ingredients alternately on FLAT skewers (so nothing gets twisted). Grind thyme and mix with olive oil.
- Grill the skewers over medium heat for about 8 minutes, turning and brushing with thyme oil. Only add salt after grilling.
