Leo’s Sausage Skewers

The perfect leo’s sausage skewers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Bell peppers (red, yellow)
  • 2 Red onions
  • 1 Zucchini
  • 600 g Nuremberg grilled sausages
  • 8 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dried thyme
  1. Clean the peppers and cut into 3 cm pieces. Halve the onions, cut each half into 3 wedges. Cut the zucchini into 2 cm slices.
  2. Cut sausages into thirds (or buy sausages straight away is cheaper). Put all ingredients alternately on FLAT skewers (so nothing gets twisted). Grind thyme and mix with olive oil.
  3. Grill the skewers over medium heat for about 8 minutes, turning and brushing with thyme oil. Only add salt after grilling.
