Sausage and Vegetable Skewers with Yogurt, Horseradish and Honey Sauce

The perfect sausage and vegetable skewers with yogurt, horseradish and honey sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Sausage and vegetable skewers:

  • 1 pack Nuremberg Rostbratwurst 14 pieces / 300 g
  • 500 g Mini date tomatoes
  • 4 Onions approx. 400 g
  • 14 Shish kebab skewers
  • 100 ml Sunflower oil

Yogurt-horseradish-honey sauce: (For 2 people!)

  • 1 Yogurt 150 g / 3.5% fat
  • 3 tsp Cream horseradish from the jar
  • 1 tbsp Cream horseradish from the jar

To serve:

  • 6 Grapes for garnish

Sausage and vegetable skewers:

  1. Cut the Nuremberg sausages into 3 parts and fry them in a pan with sunflower oil on all sides until they are golden-brown and remove. Wash the mini date tomatoes and drain well. Peel the onion, cut into eighths and split into wedges. Now thread all of the ingredients (onion wedge, mini date tomato, sausage piece, onion wedge, mini date tomato, sausage piece, onion wedge, mini date tomato, sausage piece, onion wedge and mini date tomato) one after the other onto kebab sticks (makes 14 skewers). Put plenty of sunflower oil in a pan and fry the sausage and vegetable skewers one after the other on both sides.

Yogurt-horseradish-honey sauce:

  1. Put all ingredients (yogurt, cream horseradish and liquid honey) in a bowl and mix well with a whisk.

Serve:

  1. Serve sausage and vegetable skewers with yogurt, horseradish and honey sauce, garnished with grapes.
