Light Cheese Muffins

The perfect light cheese muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 3 St. Eggs
  • 125 g Buttermilk
  • 75 ml Olive oil
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 200 g Ger. Emmental
  1. Grease the muffin pan or insert the molds. I use silicone molds, nothing sticks to them. .
  2. Mix the flour with the baking powder in a bowl, then add the eggs, buttermilk, oil and salt and stir to form a smooth batter. Add paprika and cheese, just stir in briefly.
  3. It is best to distribute the dough evenly into the molds using 2 spoons. Bake on the grid in the middle of the oven for approx. 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees fan-assisted. It is best to do a chopstick test. Let cool down briefly, take out of the mold and let cool down on a wire rack.
